Meet The Artist
Riley Atkinson is a Brooklyn-based actress and filmmaker.
Raised on the coast of Maine, Riley developed an appreciation for natural beauty at a young age.
She has always been drawn to storytelling through imagery, whether it's with a brush and canvas, a camera, or creating a character within herself.
After completing her associate's degree in Maine, she moved to New York City to pursue her bachelor's in film at Brooklyn College.
In June 2026, her thesis film "The Lines We Blur" premiered at the Brooklyn College 44th Annual Film Festival. In addition to being showcased as a faculty select, Riley earned nominations for outstanding achievement in directing, screenwriting, producing, location sound, and the New York Women in Film and Television Emerging Female Filmmaker Award.
She was honored and delighted to take home NYWIFT's Emerging Female Film Maker Award. She can't wait to see where her art takes her next.
